keatonwd@gmail.comKeaton is a designer and artist passionate about negative space, thick business cards, and small folios. Although born in Torrance, California, Keaton spent his early years in Uzbekistan (ages 1–3) and Cappadocia, Türkiye (5–16). These countries instilled in him a deep love of beauty and multicultural artistry. Türkiye’s enchanting landscape, hot-air-balloons, and endless amounts of Turkish tea (not coffee) especially inspired him to create and paint, which became the foundation of his design journey.
After moving back to the US in 2019, he studied Communication Design and Art History at the University of North Texas where he graduated in May, 2024. While at university he was honored to receive awards for best senior portfolio, several Graphis awards, and recognition as a GDUSA Student to Watch 2024. He delights in publications, illustration, branding, and animation, and could discuss movies for hours.
